This is a book about how unfair the ERISA law is. How the insurance companies can fraudulently deny you your disability benefits by ignoring information sent to them from your doctors. A story about thinking you have Security when actually you have none. A story that tells you what you must do if you become disabled and have any hope of receiving your disability payments from your insurance company. A story of becoming public through the mass media to get this unfair law changed so insurance companies cannot do this to anyone else. A story of how insurance companies must be held accountable for their fraudulent and decietful behavior. A story of how the American citizen should have more rights when an insurance company causes you to lose everything you worked your whole life for because right now you have no rights to do anything to an insurance no matter what methods they use to deny you yor benefits. ERISA protects insurance companies from any liability on their part no matter what decietful methods they use. A story of how insurance companies are destroying peoples lives.

About the Author

My name is Delores Paul but everyone calls me "Dee" and I am not a professional writer. Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. I was married for eighteen years and had two children, a daughter Renee, and a son Philip. I was a hairdresser for about ten years, and a successful salon owner.

I became a single mother after my divorce, and that encouraged me to go back to school, and receive my degree as a Registered nurse. I was a charge nurse on a cardio vascular care unit for many years. I enjoyed, and found my work very rewarding.

I became disabled in 2001, due to some neurological problems. I discovered at that time that the insurance that I and the hospital paid to give me security, should I become disabled actually left me more vulnerable. After years of fighting a legal battle for what was rightfully mine I decided to write this book to reveal the truth regarding a law called ERISA, in hopes to change this law so no one else will ever have to go through what I did.
