About the Book

In the summer of 1969 religious and political ideologies are in a state of constant conflict and turmoil. During this time, a disgruntled American Naval radioman, stationed in Northern Ireland, chose to sell the key to several U.S. Naval and NATO codes to the Soviet Union.

For over two decades the hidden significance of one of the 'keylists' alters the fate of a small group of people. The compromised code tests allegiances as a domino effect of choice entwines the U.S. Navy, the I.R.A. and the Soviet G.R.U.. Consequences eventually become deadly as secrets are revealed. A cryptographer, a former Scotland Yard Inspector, a relentless professional killer, and the traitor himself carry the key to their future and the future of others. If any of them is to survive, Fate's cipher must be broken.

About the Author

The author is a retired police officer from a mid-sized Ohio city. He was assigned to the Detective Bureau, and also supervised a Narcotics Unit. J. Lawrence Wagner is married with a son and two grandchildren.
