About the Book

This book gives elaborate and necessary information about the beginning of the House of God (Ka'abah), and about Islam. It shows how and when this House was built by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismaeel in a deserted and barren land about 4000 years ago. It tells of the miracle of the Spring of Zam Zam water and the caravans of people settling around this spring and the city of Makkah and the Ka'abah and eventually the holy city and centre for all Muslims around the world since the advent of Islam.

The book explains the advent of Islam and its teachings and the concepts of its fundamental rituals and obligations from attesting to the Oneness of God, Allah, and the belief in Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and Doing the Salat, paying the Zakat, fasting the month of Ramadhan and performing the Hajj, etc.

There after starts a concise history/biography of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) since his birth, until he married Lady Khadjia. He was trusted and called Al Ameen or The Trustworthy since his childhood because of his noble nature, that he does not utter a lie, and his honesty. It tells about how and when the Heavenly Revelations started to be revealed on to him, how he began to propagate Islam among the infidels in Makkah.

It gives general information of its teachings and principles from Women's position, Justice in Islam, taking care of the Orphan's, what are the good and bad deeds according to Islam and how Islam abhors bad deeds and encourages to do the Good for the benefit of oneself and all humanity. And what people may expect to get as rewards after death when they do good deeds or are punished for doing bad deeds and what his Heaven and Hell.

This book is one of its Kind, not just because of the numerous amounts of useful information it contains, but also the simple and plain way and matter in which it is written, which will add to the knowledge of different categories of people and readers and their different levels of understanding and education. By the grace of God, every one will benefit from this book.

About the Author

The author was born on the 10th of Muharram 1364 AH (1943 AD) in Madina, Saudi Arabia.

He had primary education in Medina. He graduated from Peshawar University.

He joined Saudi Arabian Airlines as a pilot in 1963 and had several courses and experience in wide body jet Aircrafts; like Tristar L1011 and Boeing 747 beside the conventional DC3, and CV340.

After retirement in 2001 he opened a publishing and business office, where he published a magazine in aviation in the Arabic language.
