Investigator Nick Edwards is called to investigate a missing person. Not just any person, but a close friend's wife. When Wayne Neuman, a close and long time friends of Nick's since the Gulf War, became worried when his wife, Pam Neuman, didn't come home after work from Portage police Department, who is a police dispatcher, he didn't know which way turn. Wayne first called Pam's job, but with little satisfaction. He then turned to Nick for help. It didn't take long for the tough and determined investigators find Pam... What Nick didn't realize until later, Pam was kidnapped by her own boss... The Chief of Police, Captain Brisco. Pam was at the wrong place at the wrong time and over heard Captain Brisco setting up a rendezvous for a drug drop-off in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Lisa Murray, Nick's girlfriend and Private Investigator and Clint Douglas, owner of C-N-L Detective Agency and Wayne and his wife comes to Nick's aid and tries to foil the drug deal, They will soon find out they are way over their heads in police corruption and political danger.
