"Horse Solders" is a book written about the 1st Cavalry Division. From the Civil War to Viet Nam and helicopters and becoming an Airmobile Division, to armor and tanks and helicopters as today's until is serving in Iraq right now. A summary of almost 150 years, with the most famous military division ever.

About the Author

The author, Thomas R. Randall, who is a retired federal agent, has also written five books and all have been published with Trafford Publishing. "Angels With Whirly Wings Dust off Viet Nam 67", "The Badge and Stripes of honor", "Car Crazy", "Hot Rods", "Horse Soldiers" were all written in 2006-2007. The author holds a Masters degree from Elmira College, and is a Ph. D. in Criminal justice from Cambridge University. The author served with the US army in Viet Nam in 1966 and 1967 as a helicopter door gunner on a "Dust Off" helicopter.
