About the Author

Dr. Baruch Schenker is an optometrist, photographer, artist and born again surfer. He has lived in New Paltz for over thirty years with his best friend and wife, Stacey. They have four children and five grandchildren. “The story of Turtle Woman and Eagle Man came to me the night my daughter gave birth to our first grandchild. I hope my grandchildren; Ruby, Chloe, Tuari, Reggie, Lyric and all our future grandchildren love the story. It gives me hope for the future that Turtle Woman and Eagle Man live inside all the children of the world.”
