About the Book

I decided to write this poetry book after being encouraged by my family and friends "to get my feet wet." Poetry has been an outlet in my life for all my little bumps and bruises. I always found writing to be one of the most comforting things in my life. Poetry for me has become a way to truly and honestly express myself without causing harm or taping criticisms. Inside this book you will find short stores and poems from heartfelt memories and tragic loses that have occurred during the course of my life. For the pages of this book delivers reflection s of my life and the timeless events that has occurred in and around it. This reveals the life, love and flourishment of wisdom through the eyes of a mother, wife, daughter and friend.
