About the Book

Spiritpower is written for all those who are interested in exploring the field of spirit; it specifically appeals to those who have already begun an active search for their spirit. It offers support, encouragement and direction to those who somehow got lost along the way, yet still have a need for a life in the spirit. Spiritpower is composed of two texts, The Manual and The Revolutionary Handbook, that are woven together into a single text. The Manual offers a step-by-step, inner healing journey that takes the participant through the process of unification with the higher self or spirit within. While The Manual offers instructions on how to directly contact and develop an on-going relationship with the spirit, The Revolutionary Handbook informs on what to expect and what lies ahead in the new spiritual frontier. The handbook offers a survey of the “future history” of the inner spiritual life of the 21st century. The handbook prophesizes spiritual events of our century and is based on the vision of spirit beings living and working in and through the minds and bodies of their human counterparts.

About the Author

After abandoning a career as a high school English teacher, John Barazzuol worked on a Norwegian freighter for passage to Japan. On his way to India to be a saddhu (a wandering, pennyless monk), he went to a Buddhist temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he received his high ordination as a Theravada Buddhist monk. Later he ordained in the Mahayana/Zen tradition in Korea. After 20 years of monastic experience and training, he decided to leave the life of an institutional monk and carry the “monk” in him into the world. He purposefully did not do a disrobing ceremony because he wanted to carry the spirit of monastic life into the world. He decided to make the world his retreat center. After 25 years in Asia, he returned to his hometown, Vancouver, British Columbia. For 10 years he taught English as a Second Language. In his free time, he began writing intuitively and his writings were/are inspirational John Barazzuol sees himself as a messenger with a very strong and important message. The issue at hand is not his personal popularity but the popularity of the material of the message. He now offers seminars that take people of an inner healing journey in which they unite with their spirit so they can use their spirit power to fuel their life’s creations.
