Rainbow Waves is the second novel, sequel to Rainbow Dreams with Golden Beams by Patricia Quenton. The book continues from the last final chapter as the Marshall family is fragmented. The main character Yvonne, is inspired to continue through her turbulent times by positive thoughts and actions. A survivor of Domestic Violence, she attempts to retain physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological survival by diverse pursuits. These include returning to her former profession as that of teacher. Drama performance with academic and professional women, nurture her and help the healing process. Spiritual pathways are revealed. Support from her spiritual church aid her recovery. She is determined to continue academic research in to third-wave feminism through the artistry of Women's Writing for Performance. She is priviledged to meet many interesting and supportive people through this continued journey in life.


About the Author

Patricia Quenton is in her late fifties. She is a divorcee with one son. She has been wife, mother, sister, and daughter, demanding roles for many women. She is a teacher and a drama student. She enjoys travel, study, performance, teaching and writing. She is a firm believer in freedom of spirit and individual choice within life. She, as many would like to see a more stable, less violent world for the future generations to be able to live a rich full life in peace. She promotres a more egalitarian society that empowers and represents women and ensures their economic, emotional and physical welfare.
