About the Book

All the short imaginative stories of this book follow a sequence of cruel Battles starting with the American War of Secession in the 18th century and ending with the disaster of now-days Iraq.

The intention of the author is to show the barbaric instinct of the human race, decorating it with a slight touch of ironical humour.

About the Author

The author was born in Barcelona, Spain, of a Spanish father and English mother. His wife is English and they have two sons, who were born in Germany, where he specialized in General Surgery.

During his childhood he suffered the horrors of the Spanish civil war and the aftermathof Franco's dictatorship. For twenty five years he has been head of a surgical department in Barcelona.

Now-days he's retired and tries to combine hios sporting and travelling life with his letrary tendencies.
