About the Book
"Safe travel is an ideal we all wish to share and enjoy, but a world without risks simply does not exist. Travelers are unfortunately often targeted, and this book will offer some excellent advice on how to avoid becoming a victim.
One of the primary reasons travelers are targeted is that they often appear vulnerable. They are in a location that is new to them and, therefore, do not exude the confidence shown in familiar surroundings. In addition, both tourist and business travelers will usually carry above average amounts of cash, often combined with expensive cameras and laptops.
It is important that all travelers of all ages, not only learn to live with, but actually anticipate and manage the risks they may encounter. The threats will always be there but it is up to you to determine how vulnerable you feel. Travel Safe - Travel Smart™, the most comprehensive book on travel security today, will help you reduce your vulnerability, and therefore improve your travel experience.
This book is written and reviewed by security professionals that operate and travel in some of the world's most dangerous environments. The information provided in the book is real-life, hands-on advice that will make your journey safer."
