About the Book
Dana Parks has returned for a second summer to her part-time job at Sievco. Her main reason... Katherine Vance. Dana, a thirty-something English teacher finds herself in the midst of a heated infatuation with Katherine. The problem is that Katherine's sexual identity is ambiguous. The tug of war for information about Katherine keeps Dana in a state of distress. Her best friend at Sievco, Steven, waffles between supporting Dana's quest and dismissing it as futile. A bad blind date, a sensual encounter with a straight friend, and Dana's rich fantasy life add to her confusion. What Dana imagines possible is far from what is really happening. In pursuit of Katherine as a potential love interest, Dana experiences moments of frustration, hilarity, and self-awareness.
