About the Book
This book helps any adult leading children in prayer enabling them to see God in all things. Like Jesus the great teacher and storyteller, the book teaches through stories which are based on the children's experiences, nature or scripture with discussion points helping them to understand life's situations. While the story can stand alone its main aim is to help to prepare the child for an experience of prayer. The chat section gives ideas of how to develop a deeper understanding of the story. Children may take the discussion in other directions and express their understanding of the story. This is natural and will enhance the child's experience of prayer.
There are several options for prayer; only one should be used for each session. The discussions and prayer options have been divided into Teacher / Catechist for those working with a group of children in school or Sunday school and children's liturgy. The parent options are for any adult working with one or two children at home.
