About the Book

To know we are not alone is a gift; joy can be doubled, faith can be revived, grief can somehow be managed. Written from the viewpoint of a hospital chaplain, Gary Meller's collection of poetry touches on the emotional events in our lives, celebrating with laughter and comforting with the knowledge that we share as humans the most important things, life, love and faith. This kind of sharing, when we need it most....at the bedside of a sick friend, with the death of a loved one or when we need to just hold on as the child becomes the parent.... gives perspective and even peace in knowing that we are not alone. These poems share those moments and give that gift.

About the Author

Chaplain Gary serves as a staff chaplain in a large regional hospital in Duluth, MN, and is also the founder of Silver Lion Ministries established to bring GodÕs message of grace and hope to all. Gary is married and has a married daughter.
