About the Book

Sermonsnacks is a compilation of a number of "snack sized" portions of God's word concerning subjects such as; Faith, Marriage, Family, Finances, Loneliness and more. Comments associated with the scriptures are short down to earth and provide motivation to dig deeper into God's word, as well as a little "nudge" to help get you back on track. Sermonsnacks was the winner of the 2008 Best Book Award (Prayer and Devotional) and a finalist in the 2008 Indie Excellence Awards.

About the Author

Don Collette grew up in Grafton, North Dakota. He is a retired U.S. Navy officer, an Ordained Bishop, Christian counselor and certified community service Chaplain. He and his wife Karen planted and pastored the Ocean Lakes Church of God in Virginia Beach, Va., Served as associate pastor at Emmanuel Christian Center in Va. Beach and Pastored Master's Heart Church of God in Vinemont Al. They are publisher and founders of Sermonsnacks.com, a Christian web-site. Don has attended Liberty University, Old Dominion University and Wallace State College. With studies in religion, business, technical education, clinical laboratory technology and criminal justice. They reside in rural Hanceville, Alabama.
