About the Author

Debbi began her career in the culinary field when she was still in high school. Working both back of the house and front of the house management her real love was cooking. Debbi was inspired to attend culinary school by Chef John Ash, former Culinary Director for Fetzer and Bonterra Vineyards.

After attending culinary school, she went on to manage several kitchens, run her own catering company; provide research and development of recipes as a corporate chef for Melissa’s World Variety Produce and offer personal chef services.

Debbi has taught culinary classes for Williams Sonoma, Bloomingdale’s and Smith and Hawken and she’s provided product demonstrations for Staub and Breville cookware.

Debbi has also conducted team-building classes for Roxy, Taco Bell and Verizon Wireless. Debbi hosts several food and wine trips a year to California’s Central Coast where she introduces her guests to local wineries, farms and olive oil producers.

Debbi is an advocate of locally grown produce and promoted sustainability. Debbi spends much of her time in her kitchen garden and reading, culinary mysteries are a favorite.
