About the Book

Crossing Europe by bus, running from his past, thirty-five year old Devon Matthews arrives in India where a Guru appears, tells him he’s on the Road to Nowhere and then disappears.

Seeking refuge in a Spiritual Retreat, going through a dark night of the soul in the underworld of the Russian Mafia, discovering his identity in the United States, revealing a past he wishes to forget, taking him home, into space, through mind and beyond into an altered state of consciousness, and back to the present, to face his past, so that he can fulfil his future. Guided by a mischievous guru and transformed by his experience, Devon discovers his Road to Nowhere and proves that miracles do happen.

About the Author

I have spent most of my life working as an Acrobatic Dancer travelling the World. I have always been fascinated with the subjects of psychology, spiritual quests and mystical philosophy and have been developing a writing career over the past few years to express these concepts in novels and screenplays.

I was inspired to write the Road to Nowhere around the time I read the works of "A Course in Miracles" and "Conversations with God" I wanted to focus on a character very different from myself and take that character on a journey from a difficult past through a mystical revelation into a transformed future. I wanted to capture the journey in a humorous honest way so that my audience could also take the journey of the Road to Nowhere.
