About the Author

Munir Idilbi is a published writer in the Middle East. His books are considered a sort of best sellers. They are met by great welcome and appreciation by the enlightened and open-minded people; and by anger and denial by the traditional and fanatic people. He also translated several books into English and Arabic.

He was borne in Damascus in 1949. He has a B.A. in English literature from Damascus University. He taught English Language for many years, gave private lessons to students from all walks of life, and traveled to several countries in Europe as well as USA, where he delivered lectures about verifying faith.

Speaking of himself Mr. Idilbi says that ever since he was a young boy, he has always been a nature-lover contemplating every little feature he came across, taking it as a source of mystery and beauty. 'I used to go out losing myself along riverbanks, landscapes, or up the hills, looking for scenic views and contemplating the artful work of God in any form of creation… I liked going out to walk under rain for quite long times; and used to create all sorts of creatures out of the sky clouds, traveling on them to God's mysterious worlds.'
