About the Book

Joy is certainly a state of mind, an attitude that occasionally needs to be coaxed. Our fast-paced and stress-filled lives sometimes cause us to forget that we have attainable joy hiding just beneath the surface. We are so busy trying to get somewhere in life that we forget where we've been or how we got where we are.

Life is full of surprises. Some will bring great moments of joy, while others will bring sorrow, challenges and setbacks. Journaling is a valuable tool that allows you to safely express yourself, find purpose in lifeƕs changes, and work towards a healthier, more peaceful life.

Through the author's light-hearted approach of sharing her own thoughts and personal life experiences, your own memories and ideas will be triggered, guiding you down your personal path of self-discovery.

The journaling exercises in this guide may be used as a personal journey towards attaining a more peaceful and joyous life, but can also prove to be both entertaining and enlightening when done in a group setting. They have been used in support groups, mothers' clubs and other discussion groups. Whichever way you choose to use this guide, the process is sure to bring out the smile in your soul.
