About the Book

Mocha's First Birthday Party is a fun story for young children. It is about Mocha inviting her friends over to her house to celebrate her first birthday party.

Her friends received a personal invitation to attend the party and were allowed to bring their friends along too.

Everyone of them dressed up really nice for Mocha's party and they enjoyed eating a delicous cake and ice-cream after they thanked the Lord for the wonderful treat.

Later, Mocha opened up all the gifts she had received and among them her favorite one was a great crayon box.

Next, they all gathered and danced to Mocha's favorite songs. They were truly enjoying the music and the company. They also watched television and learned that a big storm was headed their way, so they all went home safely before it started.

Days later, Mocha received a lot of thank you cards from all her attendees. Mocha was very grateful!!

About the Author

The author, Tama Newman, lives in Laredo, Texas with Mocha, her Chihuahua dog, who loves children.

Tama is a realtor and she enjoys writing children's stories about Mocha, the main character.

Tama and Mocha enjoy walking and going on long rides viewing different properties. Tama also beads jewelry for herself and for Mocha as well. Mocha sports matching jewelry with her new dresses she wears at book signings.
