This story is about Nipaerilla the caterpillar and her journey to become a new creature. As the scripture 2 Corinthians 5: 17 states, “if anyone is in Christ He is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!” What an exciting thing to know that God can make you over again! He can make you that new creation just as Nipaerilla, the caterpillar. Ms. Nipaerilla, the caterpillar, lived in the tree on Sky Lane Drive. This was a very happy Caterpillar who had some questions in her Heart. “I know that I am supposed to fly one day but how, when and where?” she said. So one day she crawled down the tree and sat on a rock at the base of the tree. Ms. June, the ladybug, was there taking in the beauty of the flowers all around her. This book also contains a workbook to help parents review the principles and key learning points of this story with their children. This book is also ready to be used as a scholastic teaching tool.

Nipaerilla the Caterpillar just knew that she was missing something and that something was her wings. In her journey for wings different creatures help her learn what prayer is and who she needed to pray to about her situation. And even if her prayer is not answered when she thought it should be, God was still there listening. Yes! He granted her the one thing she was praying for the most, her wings. Follow Nipaerilla in her adventures in finding out that she can become a new creature in Jesus Christ.
My hope and prayer is that you will gain the understanding that God does and will answer our prayers just wait! And see.
About the Author
Geraldine E. Settles was born and raised in Connecticut and received Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age. In her secular career she worked in retail for more than 20 years as a manager and is now a fulltime housewife and mother. She is also very active in her church in Children's Ministry and Sunday school. Her love for illustration and teaching God's word to children has brought her to this point in her life. Her Husband Masco and daughter Tiffanie are her greatest inspiration.
Geraldine's prayer and hope is that children might learn the value of prayer and that children will turn their lives over to Christ.
