About the Book

This book was inspired by my late grandmother Annie-Jane, who as a child saw fairies dancing around a tree. The story was originally a screenplay which received development funding from the Irish Film Board and the Irish Arts Council. After adapting it into a children's book, it subsequently won a literary writing competition. The prize was a publishing deal with Trafford.

About the Author

Grace Charley lives in Graceland...head up through the clouds, go over the moon, turn in at the plough then just follow the rainbow. In 2004, she graduated with an MA in Scriptwriting (DIADT). She is a journalist for Newsfour and arts facilitator with the The Base in Ballyfermot.
