About the Book

Born in a quiet small water plant, little fish got bored and dreamed of far away exotic places. A storm of calamities and sorrows hit the domain, swept away his parents, and forced him to flee to the unknown. He will wander the world, against all odds, to discover and taste life in all its facets.

About the Author

Caught in turmoil of the Vietnam War, storm of sorrows and miseries, with broken dreams and shattered spirit, the young Li Cho has to wander the world in search of a place to call home, and where he can seed hope and plant aspiration, see trees blossom, and orchids bloom, enjoy the breeze of life to flow with love in the melody of silence and the symphony of nature.

Whereas the US have broken their promise to stand with and for the Hmong in their fight against communism, condemning these freedom fighters to perish, the waves of calamities swept his parents away, the country crumbled, and his brother sent to labor camp, Li Cho departed with his siblings to the unknown against all odds.
