About the Book

Peter Fairall changed thousands of people's lives. From the money he and his wife Yvonne collected for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution to the man who set fire to his house to the foreman whose best suit received a large dollop of soap foam to the judge of the supreme Court, all of these people remember Peter with different emotions. One thing is sure. They remember him. To read this book is to follow along the life track of a man who felt Life was dumping on him and fought back. If nothing unusual happened by midday... he made something happen. A good friend and a terrible enemy. Yet, through the whole book, your sympathies are with him and a deep longing to emulate his loyalty to his wife, family and friends. His favorite saying, "I don't get mad, I get even."
