About the Book

One of our nuclear submarines has vanished off the Russian coast! Special agent Ian Michaels sat in stunned silence, staring at his superior, Admiral Keith Cunningham, trying to comprehend how such a disaster had happened. Ian's heart sank as he realized that just such an incident could provoke enough hostility in either the Western or Eastern countries to lead to that dreaded preemptive first strike, the start of WWIII. Immediately swept into action, beginning with a special meeting with the President and Joint Chiefs of Staff in the situation room at the white house, Michaels begins an investigation that will put him on the path of rougue agents from several power hungry nations. Using deductive skill and every new technology tool possible, Michaels follows their trail from the United States to Thailand to Russia to China, unraveling a plot that involves an unrivaled appetite for world domination and a secret weapon code named "Devil's Path". As regional director of the Defense Intelligence Agency's newly formed Omega Division and an expert in counter-intelligence, Ian Michaels is the new dynamic hero of an action packed, fast moving adventure that has authentic descriptions of today's covert military actions and machinery.
