About the Book
Super-sized No More: Total Health and Fitness from TIP to TIP is an inspirational, self-help book designed as a guide for individuals dealing with weight and health issues. Central to its theme is the obesity epidemic raging across the United States and other countries. The statistics tell the story. The physical, mental, psychological, economic and social consequences of obesity are wreaking havoc in many communities. The TIPS outlined in this book are meant to motivate individuals to think and act towards behavior modification that will help them achieve their health and fitness goals. The individual is encouraged first to analyze or assess his or her situation, then make a commitment, have a plan and engage in those behaviors and activities that will help alleviate the situation; not to procrastinate, make excuses, or give up along the way; to love themselves and take pride in their ultimate achievement of better health and fitness.
