About the Author

Debbie Graggs, a teacher of God's word in the jail and prison ministry, knows exactly what it is like to have the hunger pangs for GodÕs touch, his voice, or just his mere presence in her life. As a servant of God, Debbie is not only a deacon at her church but also an outreach servant to her community and now she shares the word as a Chaplin in the prison and jail systems with Texas Department of Correctional Justice. Her loving parents in a middle class neighborhood raised her with her siblings. Her life has now been completely fulfilled with a healthy gifted son.

Debbie's struggles began when she fought a secret battle of self-destruction that ultimately kept her in bondage, thus preventing her from living the life that God had lovingly offered to her. Debbie suffered from drug addiction that led her down the dark path of jails, treatment facilities, condemnation, loneliness and despair with many unhealthy relationships. It was at her darkest time in life when Debbie finally made a connection with God who ultimately resurrected her into a new and greater existence in the world. By the grace of God, Debbie has been blessed with an awesome gift of freedom and deliverance. The word of God has set her free and continually frees her on a daily basis in her aspiration to seek His face.

God has given her an anointed word for all who have been, or still are, in bondage of any magnitude. God whispers in her heart the words that she then delivers to those who are lost and suffering, the words that set her free. Debbie understands that she has been given a tremendous gift and she feels blessed to use her gifts to glorify her heavenly father in order to walk in the sovereignty that he has given to her.
