About the Book
Here's a very important truth to consider: a person's health is a daily, renewable resource, not something to use up until it's gone!
Here's another: Some 77 million strong, Babyboomers are the group most at risk for losing their health.
There's no one-size-fits-all solution because each person is a special entity with background, personality, genetics and problems unique to him/her.
A BOOMER'S HEALTH GUIDE: It's Now or Never! is for all those who know it's time to change their lifestyles and save their health but they don't know what's best for them or where to begin. It offers advice on Boomers' most challenging issues, including weight loss without "dieting", reducing stress, Yoga, meditation, love and sex after 50, menopause, parenting one's parents, and much more.
Each chapter ends with referrals to further reading and websites to help the reader explore and choose his/her own special path to vibrant health.
About the Author
Ulla Anneli is a natural nurturer.
As a registered nurse, registered Hatha yoga teacher, anti-aging and holistic health expert, author and television personality, Ms. Anneli has been helping people combat stress and stress-related illnesses for 30 years.
"If you believe in psychosomatic illness, you must also believe in psychosomatic wellness," says Ms. Anneli, a former fashion model. "Our minds have the ability to hurt and heal our bodies. In this day and age, stress reduction is simply life extension."
Her philosophy: a strong immune system helps repel diseases that can shorten one's life. What weakens the immune system is stress, nutrient deficiency and a sedentary lifestyle. Her stress-busting techniques draw on new and ancient teachings that she has researched, experimented with and practiced for decades. These techniques form the basis for "Ulla Anneli's The Break™, her comprehensive RSI and stress prevention software for people who spend more than 4 hours per day at a computer. The Break is available at Ms. Anneli's website, www.TakeTheBreak.com
Ms. Anneli has also specialized in adapting yoga principles for sufferers of serious health ailments, including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Lupus, Fibromyalgia and Arthritis.

Mr. Alsop obtained Life Story Rights Agreements, developed the true story and wrote the screen treatment that landed a deal with ABC and General Foods for an MOW titled "Little Girl Lost". He also served as co-producer for the film, which starred Tess Harper and Frederic Forrest.

Martin Scorsese is attached to the project as Executive Producer. Principal Photography is expected to begin in the Spring of 2008.
