About the Book
Shelves of books have been written to fathers addressing the need for personal integrity and character as we attempt to rear our children. And rightly so, for without these, no amount of contrived teaching and instruction will bring a child into stable Christ-like maturity.
Yet unfortunately, many fathers who do maintain personal integrity and character still miss those wonderful opportunities, those teachable moments, to transfer their own wisdom and experience on to their kids. The result is young men and women, still in their teens, who leave home without the advantages that a father's wisdom and experience would give them.
This, then is not so much a book exhorting us to be Godly father's. Rather it is a practical list of principles and skills for fathers to teach their children, and some approaches that will help us enjoy the process.
This interaction between fathers and children will forever change their concept of "Father", and so will affect their own lives, their marriages and future generations.
