About the Book

I became aware of how God had been guiding my life and how he communicated with me. This book is about my personal journey. How my relationship with God deepened after being touched in a special way by God and how I felt the Holy Spirit guiding me in my life and thinking. My lifestyle changed dramatically, my wife June and I had the privilege of travelling to different countries to work and witness different cultures, gaining much experience that was useful for our work in the U.K. Our ministry here in the U.K grew because of these experiences. You can read of our work in Montserrat in the West Indies, Kenya and Uganda. When God calls and we answer, conflict can be created in our lives, which need to be overcome. I have learned that God will care for you and life will never be dull. I trust you will enjoy reading this book and the God will touch your life as well.

About the Author

I grew up in a loving Christian family. I was the second of three sons born to my parents Hedwell and Alice Waters. I met and married my wife June Wallace just before my 20th birthday.

As a family, we attended Holy Trinity Church, Pontnewydd (Diocese of Monmouth, Church in Wales) . As a teenager, I learned to read the lessons at Sunday worship and I became a licensed 'lay preacher' at 21 years of age. I was ordained into the Anglican Church in Wales in 1973 at the age of 39.

June and I worked together in Gods service, bringing up our four sons to know and love God.

In our later years, we have had the privilege of serving God on short-term mission work in Africa and the West Indies as well as attending meetings in Europe and the Middle East. We would like to thank all who have helped and supported us in our work - to many to name.

We retired from full time ministry in 1999. We now live quietly in Malpas on the outskirts of Newport in South Wales.

I would particularly like to thank Mrs Pat Ingham who did all the typing for me and the Rev. Kenneth Sharpe B.A who proofread the copy for me. I would also like to thank my niece Susan Gullick for her help in getting my book published.
