Young, beautiful, and vibrant! Teresa Camellias was once a woman from Compton that all the men adored. Easily belittled by the crime and atmosphere soon erupted Teresa's poor mind as her mom forced her father away and became corrupted by drugs! So corrupted, that she sold her own daughter to her pimp. Teresa felt so disgusted that she tormented herself after and allowed no room for love to occur. No one felt her pain and no one will know just how much Teresa went through. Teresa's boyfriend was shot in cold blood right in front of her by her mother's pimp Reggie! After much agony and distress Teresa turned on friends that were the only family she knew and turned into the fast lane of sex, drugs, poverty, and stripping. Will the terror ever end? Or is it too late to save Teresa's soul and copulative ways that demean her in a society that is already shattering her mind! Can Teresa really forget her past life of rape, poverty, drugs, abortions, possessive men, and the ability to not fight back? Or will she stay back in the cut and not let the "Bad Chick" name stay in her family? Time will tell but this chick has to believe in love in order to sustain.

Kendra Rainey is a native of Dallas, Texas and a soon to be rising voice for African Americans. She is a gusty, courageous, gifted new voice taking the urban literary community by storm. Kendra currently resides in Dallas; attends college and is working on her sequence novel: A Bad Chick 2.
