You can open the book anywhere and read as many of these short stories as time allows, a type of book that busy people especially like. You will read about such things as unexpected happenings while travelling, encounters with the departed, fouled wedding plans, water-skiing gone awry, etc., as well as reliving a bit of Expo'67 and the Havelock Bank Robbery of 1962. You will even become acquainted with morels and spoonerisms! In addition, Heather has included in this book, a chapter of insightful, reflective stories, all based on her life of sixty-plus years. As in her other books, a few pictures here and there, adds to the interest. The colourful, autumn scene on the cover is taken at Whiteduck Lake, Combermere, Ontario.
