About the Book

The one-to-one, structured, cumulative, multi-sensory programme leading to instant recall of the times tables, and a vital life skill.

By regular, repetitive practice the pupil learns the times tables in the easiest order: the order of common sense. Pupils work for between 5 and 15 minutes a minimum of 3 times a week with a coach; both coach and pupil can see progress being made which leads to increased confidence and a skill that is vital to maths success.

Before embarking on the programme the pupil needs only to be able to count up to 120.

About the Author

The author of the Step by Step Times Tables programme is a qualified teacher who has taught hearing and deaf children of all ages. At present she works as an independent tutor. She holds the Diploma of the British Association of Teachers of the Deaf (BATOD), the Hornsby Distance Learning Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD/Dyslexia) and is an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA).

Penelope Loveday is married to David and they have two children, Jack and Anne. She lives in Rutland, England.
