As a child I knew that people were to give money to the Church because I saw people do it. It is important to understand why we sow our tithe, and offerings and how God first desired that sowing should take place. We need to have the knowledge and understanding of the attitude of giving the tithe and offerings to God's Kingdom.

People are blessed because their attitude to giving the tithe and offerings is one of worship and honor, to the Father. God says you bring all the tithes, to His house, and prove Him now, that He will open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Your attitude to your giving is of great importance as it will affect your Blessings. Your attitude will keep the blessings flowing or stop them completely. Giving is not enough. Only give of your best in everything and in every way. God has given you the seed to sow, to be blessed and be a blessing to others. Tithe to God, what is God's.

Working people require a reasonable wage for work done. So we should look after people of God, who minister the Word.

We must support the ministries that preach the good news.

About the Author

I became a Christian when I was 39 years old. I always thought I was a Christian, because I believed in God and that His Son died for us and was resurrected on the third day. This was until I found out that you not only believed it in your head, but in your heart and you also had to (confess it) say it.

In my younger days going to Church, the Word of God was in Latin, and not many people had Bibles. So all you learned was only what we were told. Once I became a Christian I was hungry to find out WHY to all of my questions.

I have always enjoyed helping people. So I became a gymnast coach, athletic coach, football coach, a swimming coach, a green lawn bowls coach. All involved in teaching people how to do better. Then I became an assistant pastor, and started teaching people about the Word of God and how to live better.

I now live and teach English in China with part of my family, Marcia my wife, son Jon, and daughter Shani, doing what God wants me to do, when he wants me to do it.

I have been married to Marcia for 36 years , and we have six children, Jamie, Fabian, Benjamin, Carrie, Jon, and Shani. I am also a grandfather to three grandsons, Harlan, Lachlan, and Joseph. I am so Blessed.
