Anna, the aid to a prominent US Senator plunges to her death, while at an old fishing lodge in North Carolina, for what was supposed to be a working weekend, along with three other Senators and their aids.

Although the death was ruled accidental by the local coroner, Cody, Anna’s brother, doesn’t think so, and sets out to find the truth.

As the evidence unfolds, and the truth slowly emerges, Cody enlists the aid of his best friend JT and working together they decide that one way or another, the Senator will pay for his sins, and Anna will get the justice in death, that she couldn’t get in life.



About the Author

Dr. Bob Putz grew up in Fairmont, West Virginia. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from The University of Iowa and his Ph. D. from Fordham University. Dr. PutzÕs career began with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceÕs Eastern Fish Disease Laboratory, Leetown, West Virginia. Here he studied under two renowned scientists, Dr. Stan Snieszko, and Dr Glenn L. Hoffman. Under their tutelage, Dr. Putz authored twenty-five scientific papers in ten years. He was then transferred to the Washington, D.C. office of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. During his career with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Dr. Putz was the recipient of several recognitions and awards. Most notably were his works on The Endangered Species Act, The North American Waterfowl Management Plan and the passage of The Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976, with the Dingel-Gude Amendment designed to phase-out the manufacture and distribution of PCBs. Dr. Putz served on the U.S.-Israel Scientific Review Panel, and for eight years negotiated scientific exchanges and protocols with the former Soviet Union under the 1972 U.S./U.S.S.R. Environmental Agreement. Upon leaving the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Dr. Putz joined The Conservation Fund based in Arlington, Virginia. During this period, he founded The Conservation FundÕs, Freshwater Institute. For this initiative, Dr. Putz received the prestigious Chevron Conservation Award. Dr. Putz presently resides at Linden Spring near Shepherdstown, West Virginia with his wife Martha and does limited work with The Conservation Fund.
