About the Author
Rosemarie Martin grew up in a village in Hampshire with her parents and younger brother and an assortment of animals. At sixteen she left school and went to work at a museum as a Secretary and loved it so much she stayed on for the next sixteen years! Rosemarie's mum is also a writer and local historian who herself has published books on the local history of the village and airfield. Rosemarie met her husband at a 'Summer Ball' and after a whirlwind romance got married in America and now has two children.
Nicky Barnes grew up in a small town in Hampshire with her parents and younger brother, Nicky is also an animal fanatic. She met Rosemarie when she went to work at the same museum, although Nicky left after two years, they remained friends. Nicky married in 2007, she and her husband live nearby with their three cats. She takes after her father with her love of drawing and painting.
They started off their writing ventures in 2007 with two illustrated children's books – The Pixie Chronicles Vol 1 & 2 and The Pixie Chronicles Vol 3 & 4, also published by Trafford Publishing. They then decided they wanted to do a bit more 'blood and gore', so have written this selection of stories for young adults.
