About the Book

Gaide is a runner. For five years he’s run from everything—his past, his future, his dreams. If he stops, if he stumbles, if he lets his guard down, it’s over. And some things in life are worse than death. But running hasn’t brought him any closer to the answers he seeks or the forgiveness he needs. Or to what he truly desires… the power to right his sins, to change the past.

However, Gaide isn’t running just for himself. The fate of the world’s in his hands. Hell is coming. Gaide sees it everywhere he goes. But, is he merely its pawn, or is he hell’s emissary? Is he a killer? A victim? Herald of the apocalypse? Or mankind’s last hope for survival? Only he has the power to decide… and to change what will be.

But crossroads of this magnitude aren’t traveled alone. Others seek him. Others that would make the choice for him. Others that want only death and destruction.

Gaide must decide. But some choices aren’t so black and white. No victory comes without a price. What is Gaide willing to sacrifice? And, more importantly, what isn’t he?

About the Author

This is Douglas Keller’s first novel, but it won’t be his last. He is hard at work on his next story and busy outlining the next three. God has blessed him with so many ideas he wouldn’t be able to stop writing even if he wanted to. And a lifetime may not be enough to tell them all. He lives in Michigan with his wife and collection of furry children—four dogs, three cats, and a horse.
