About the Book
To be a virgin at twenty is a liability if you dream of becoming a big star on stage and in films. Annabel, a small town girl, who is blessed with an unlimited imagination, sets out for West Berlin, the newly thriving showcase of capitalism, to attend drama school, and more importantly, find sexual adventure. Since her widowed father, whom she adores, hasn't told her about the birds and the bees, she stumbles into one hilarious encounter after another. When she finally meets her prince, he breaks her heart. She determines to make her career her lover, but her fairy-tale ideas about sex and love trip her up again and again.
