It's 8p.m. on thursday, December 28th, 1989 In the Public Bar of the Gunners, Boyzie lifts a pint and drinks deeply. He is looking forward (albeit with some apprehension) to the project on which he is about to embark, i.e., the 80-hour Music Marathon which will commence at Midnight. He has meticulously planned this event, which is supported by the Station Manager and staff of Sunny Gold Radio in Gaynsford, North Midlands. He has high hopes for this 80-music marathon and intends to enjoy himslef. As long as there are no major traumas! And no dramas! Oh please! no dramas! When he arrives at the Studio, he discovers his fans are already "rallying to the cause", there are cards, flowers, a cake and even a bottle of champagne in the studio! The latter reclines in an ice bucket in the corner. He wonders who sent this last-named present. Oh God! He hopes it wasn't her! But she is still incarcerated in the High Security Unit. Isn't she? And if she's not, and she is out looking for him, then he should be very afraid. Because as sure as God made little apples, she will "do for" him if she gets half the chance. Johnquel Amelia Friscoe. Psychopath and ex "lover" of Boyzie!
