About the Book

Kira is born into a dysfunctional family devoid of love. As her insecurities increase, she develops into a young woman and begins seeking strangers to fi ll the barren emptyness in her soul. Little does she realize that behind her actions lurks danger. Disillusioned by an impulsive act of poor judgement, she doubts true love will ever become a reality. An unexpected honorable man enters her life and guides her through several more traumatic experiences due to her naivete and innocence. Life’s paths take her down many roads in her search, but she never loses faith. Destiny fi nally intervenes, bringing her to clarity of thought, reasoning and deepening awareness of the meaning of true love.

About the Author

Olga Jeffery earned her degree in journalism from Columbia University. She has been a reporter and writer for newspapers and magazines in California and Hawaii. A retired teacher, she recently authored a children’s book, Oswald the Malihini Mouse in Hawaii. This is her first novel.
