Jessica tried to imagine raising her children with no father, sleeping without her husband and missing him during the holidays and on their anniversary. They were a faithful family but at this point Jessica could not understand why. God had forsaken her and her children by taking Carl from their lives too soon. She immediately apologized to God for scorning him. She was angry but tried to remain steady in her faith that God would take care of her and Lydia and Molly.

Jessica lost her husband and the father of her children in one fell swoop. A Christian woman's faith is tested as she is left alone with her two young daughters. She must find strength in herself to press on but try to keep faith in God that he has not left her.
Carl doesn't understand why he has been taken from his family so suddenly and so soon. He must now learn what lies ahead for him as he moves from life on Earth.
About the Author
Conversations With My Father is Catherine Davis' first publication, but she has always been an avid writer. She is from Indiana where she lives with her husband of 4 years. Together they are members of Lifeway Baptist Church. Catherine plans on writing many more Christian novels in the near future. John Cunningham is a native of New Jersey but currently resides in North Carolina with his beautiful wife and daughter. John's first novel was a non-fiction novel about his family entitled My Girls.
