Silence Is Golden Silence is murderous Silence is deadly Silence is a serial killer Silence is a monster Silence is everything Silence is fear Silence is hate Silence is love Silence is nothing at all Silence is never ends Silence is silent Silence creeps in every corner, It is everywhere Silence consumes Their very being, Leaving them behind as a pile of Forgotten bones in a graveyard They eat, breathe and sleep With silence Silent eyes tell of a world so Cold and lonely yet noisy and Of graveyard beds and tables Silent ears wait anxiously For safe silence, They fear complete silence Silence is an eerie soft gentle Lullaby to silent ears Silent lips speak in code-silence Silent bodies shiver in the cold Silence of explosions Silent faces will Never be the same Silent soldiers have seen Too much to be able To live again, As they once did Silence is a bright star of hope In the powdery-gray Clouded sky Silence…always on… Never fading away Silence forever more silence Silence never dies Forgotten soldiers Forever more remain in Complete silence The Garden Needs Watering Ay I sulk once more in the faint quaint sound of petals dropping Woe I have seen The ashes burn still Plushes of fog soothe the Unrestly tidal waves Five fingers, one way One after the other my thoughts Rumble and intertwine The chamber below, Wails its dying pain Tame the lion, I will As the rose dies, And the petals wilt Anew rose has begun to live The light will flourish Once more Gusts of wind dare to Blow it out A dying flame struggles for life The numbers are passing, Quite quickly now It was once believed the end is The only answer The end can only Be the beginning From nothing, Something emerges Rain drop after rain drop The flame lives

About the Book
Writing has come naturally to Ashley Crystal Lili Bueche since about sixth grade, Mrs. Dauber’s English class to be precise. Her first poem described her thoughts and observations of a Salvador Dali painting. In her memories, it is as if it was yesterday, a farm-like landscape with decaying animals and such. From that day forward, words seemed to pour out from deep within her soul, creating migraines if she doesn’t write each and every letter quickly enough. These words she has written as her own journal, a diary if you will, of her thoughts, feelings, words, and experiences. Those who truly know her will recognize some of the stories that provide the background for each poem. She must always keep a pen and paper close and available at all times, for her deep thoughts strike at any moment! A few strokes of a pen let out all of the emotion and stress that is pent up within her, waiting to be released. Once she has committed her thoughts and words to paper, she is able to insure her peace of mind and soul. To write for her is to breathe fresh morning dew air, a pleasure and a must for survival.

Ashley Crystal Lili Bueche is a small town girl, the girl next door type of girl. She was a military brat before birth. From sea to shining sea, she has traveled the world and peered deep within her mind, finding these words you read before you. She is a traveler by nature, writer by heart.
