About the Book

Feathers from Heaven presents a collection of Christian and inspirational poems intended to uplift the spirit and strengthen the weary. Also useful as devotionals, these poems were inspired by the stories individuals enduring life’s challenges as well as author R. Alan Krum’s reactions to many Sunday sermons given at Twinbrook Baptist Church in Rockville, Maryland; Redland Baptist Church in Derwood, Maryland; and McLean Bible Church in McLean, Virginia. Divinely inspired, this collection seeks to provide comfort and renewal for the troubled heart. These letters to God explore love and loss, and they even offer some much-needed laughter. These poems provide some perspective on how, through the power of love, lives can be changed. God is to be feared and revered, but He is a God of love. Through Jesus Christ, He is all we ever need.
