About the Book
Crackin up is Diane's own therapy for rehabilitation. Her trials and tribulations was a diary of chaos and turmoil from beginning to end. Childhood was a series of put ons and let downs. A loner seeking acceptance that led to catastrophes beyond one's imagination. Drugs, predators, and bad friends were everywhere. New York and New Jersey was her playground. she was a true soldier with one flaw-a heart of gold. She conceived one son, married one man, which took her the world over. This lead to extended preoccupations and a life some only dream of. A move to the south was the beginning of the end. Experiencing a pain so deep that it would take a miracle to pull her out. Losing everything that was near and dear created a new and timid Diane. Suspicion of everything and everyone became second nature. Escape was the option. Death crept in early bringing devastating consequences and vultures by the dozen. Concentrating on the simple things became impossible-with no help and no friends, life became hard to live. There was meds to eat, sleep, get up and just plain survive. Cleaning up her act is still a struggle.
