About the Book

Hell Week chronicles before, during and after Hell Week of BUD/S Class 38 at Little Creek Amphibious Base in 1966.

Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL(BUD/S) training covers a six month time frame encompassing very detailed and physical instruction including long distance swimming, demolition, firearms, hand to hand combat, SCUBA, parachuting and almost every form of exercise envisioned by mankind.

The final chapter of Hell Week relates some of the extreme training of BUD/S to personal experiences in Vietnam.
