My name is Nicholas. I have a lot of nicknames like Nickel Pickle, Knickerbocker, Scooter, Shorty, and Mittens (don’t ask); but all my friends call me Nick.
I’m probably like most kids. I like to have fun. When I act silly or do crazy things my parents shake their heads and say, “You’re all boy.” That makes me laugh because that’s usually when I’m having the most fun!
I tease my parents and say the best part about school is lunch and recess. They know I like to joke around a lot. I don’t mind learning about school stuff like science or social studies. I like reading time the best because we read interesting books about famous people, outer space, and world records - like men with the longest mustache or loudest burp. Those stories are funny and make us kids laugh. It’s great when we have fun at school.
Monday was one of those days.
