A Flower
A flower turnsTo the rising sun
And unfolds
In a beautiful way.
As the darkness
Of night
Fades and diminishes
To the light
Of a heavenly day.
Then the flower
It seems
As a beautiful dream.
Grows lovely
In the light
Of he sun.
For the sun
Spreads love
Thru light
From above.
That turns dark
In the wondrous
Light.
And the flower unfolds
From the darkness
Of night.
To the light…
Of a heavenly
Day.
In The Spring
In the spring when the sun risesOver the hills the flowers
Begin to grow.
The leaves comes out
And the flow with the breezes
That gently blow to and fro.
Then in summer
When all is green
Neath the warmth
Of a heavenly sun.
All that grows begins to fade
With the fading of summer sun.
Till harvest time.
With lengthening shadows
The harvest is gathered in.
And the fruit of the spring
They the grow it did bring
Gives reward as the winter
Draws nigh.
From a start in the spring
With the leaves on the trees
That grow in the summer sun
And drop in the fall
To strengthen the tree
With beauty…
Thru seasons
We feel…
We see.
From - in the spring.
Butterfly
I seen a butterfly in DecemberPerhaps - someplace this could not be
But twas seen, by more than me
And it fluttered not from
Flower to flower
But thru the air - passing…
As if to stare
And then it fluttered - ever…
In quiet on.
This butterfly seemed to me
A strange one - yet it be.
This butterfly of December
That missed the months of summer
Yet in utter quiet - fluttereth…
Strangely - on.
So Beautiful
Pay attention to a childMaybe change
Make its life worthwhile.
Pay attention to the flowers
As the hours
Passeth by
Watch them change
Make beautiful colors
Blossom under
Silent skies.
And their colors
Change with seasons
As the seasons
Passeth by
Changing hours, years with reason
As attention
Blinks an eye.
Then we wonder
And we ponder
While we go upon our way,
As attention makes
So beautiful -
Children
Flowers
Seasons
Days.
Minds of Men
On the fields where flowers flowWith the wind
As it does blow.
Men engage with war machines
Against each other they do scheme.
Wages in war
That’s in their minds
Only always in their minds.
When the victory it is won…
War itself is never done
It will start itself again.
Somewhere
In the minds of men.
Wars will only truly end
When they stop -
In minds of men.
A Cricket
I heard a cricket chirpingIn the darkness of the night.
O’er the stillness
Of the quiet,
This lone cricket’s
Voice was might.
For it carried
Thru the air
Thru the stillness
That was there.
Till the echoes
And re-echoes
Sounded lovely
In the air.
One cricket…
Calling
Calling.
O’er darkness…
Stillness…
Of autumn
Air.
