As long as there are humans, with hearts that beats, there’ had been infinite yearnings to accomplish goals, objectives, and to satisfy their desires. And so, though some would suffer great mental and physical anguish, they vowed only death could stop them. While others, if it had to be done, were prepared to walk through rings of fire. But even though the objectives maybe different in nature, in the end they had one thing in common: to fulfill the longings of their Yearning Hearts.
So did Joy Foster, an executive, whose goal was to be the first female president of Jacobson/Rand, and whose heart the pilot had captured, although she’d vowed she’d never fall in love again before she reached her ultimate goal—eventually succeed?
Did Mary Pinkerton, whose heart ached because of a flower, capture the assassin?
And was it conceivable for Daniel Stark who believed in reincarnation, to know his wish had been granted? And why was Roxanne Green who did not believe in clairvoyance known as the psychic detective?
Then there was Luke king. Did he hear from his dying father those three words that he longed to hear all his life?
Mark Dawes made a promise to Jennifer. But one December day, six months after they got married, his heart leap for joy after he got out of bed and looked out the bedroom window and saw mountains of snow. And even though Jennifer beseeched him not to leave the comfort of their home, he was bent on going to the ski resort. So, did Mark get to satisfy his desire? Or would he live to regret his injudicious decisions!
And did the poor boy Johnny Price (JP) who was force into the workforce at age fifteen, a few years after his father’s body was shoveled from the concrete pavement, ever become the millionaire as he’d vowed emphatically?
