The Brigadier tightened the cord around his dressing gown so that it fitted snugly beneath his bulging stomach. ‘That might be a bit of a problem,’ he said, crossing his legs modestly. ‘You see James, and this is not something that your mother and I planned for you or your brother Maurice to find out, but, you understand, since you were both at boarding school we had time on our hands to explore different avenues.’ He lit a thick cigar and puffed hard before speaking further. ‘The situation now is that your mother and I have become fervent swingers. But, we only swing on a Sunday. You see, we’ve been experiencing a few problems with the vicar ever since your mother’s clamping episode at the church and I guess you could say that our activities have flourished into a replacement for Evening Worship. I do hope you’ll understand.’ ‘Of course, of course,’ said James, turning pale at the thought. ‘And not a word to your mother,’ the Brigadier added. ‘Actually, I don’t think she knows you’re here. She’s busy upstairs sorting out her smalls for this evening.’

About the Book
‘How to be a Super Bitch Lawyer’ is a dark, farcical tale concerning lawyers at the antiquated firm of Meade, Pullen and Co who are secretly yearning for promotion to partnership level but each has a very different idea as to how this may be achieved.
Felicity Garrett attempts to follow the obvious route to partnership by working hard and making a great deal of money for the firm regardless of whom she tramples upon in her quest; meek and lovely Sarah has to spend many a night out with the firm’s clients, thus leaving her boyfriend free to embark on an affair with her beautiful sister; and John will do anything to gain partnership to avoid the wrath of his testosterone-fuelled wife.
Meanwhile, Roger, the senior partner, aware that the firm is in a chaotic financial position, has to forge a secret deal with the firm’s benefactor to keep the firm afloat. Also amidst this dilemma, Roger has to deal with a tight-fisted managing partner, an obscure employment department and a six-fingered practice manager.
And who is the real Super Bitch?
About the Author
Anna Corsellis grew up in Cardiff and attended Howell’s school, Llandaf. She spent periods of time during her childhood living in Boston, Massachusetts and in New Cavendish Street, London. Four years after qualifying as a solicitor, she became a partner and Head of the firm's Clinical Negligence department. She is currently a lecturer on the Legal Practice Course in Holborn. Anna lives in Chiswick with her husband, a criminal barrister, and three children. How To Be a Super Bitch Lawyer is her first novel.
