About the Author Bridget Elkins resides in a lovely, rural setting in the community of New Boston, Michigan, not far from her favorite fishing hole and apple orchard, along with husband, her beautiful daughter, and her long-time companion, Colby, a Llewellin Setter. By day, Bridget spends hours providing therapeutic recreational activities for seniors in a healthcare facility where she presents herself as accomplished, organized, efficient, caring, and professional. By night, Bridget pens the outpouring of emotions that make up the body of her poetry drawn from life experience, meditative observations of nature, and interactions with everyone around her. Bridget has a life story that, like many, has not always been pleasant. In fact, she has overcome many obstacles and personal struggles…ah, but something must be saved for her next volume! Suffice it to say for the time being, she has triumphed by turning personal tragedy into heartfelt poetry that translates into healing for herself and her readers and inspires others to do the same.
